Common Name:  Comb-leaf Philodendron, Fern-leaf Philodendron

Philodendrons are a very popular and easy-care houseplant with a ton of variety across the different species within the family. They all come from tropical or subtropical climates and love humidity (and are great plants to have in your bathroom as a result). Each Philodendron has its own growth pattern and leaf style, which makes these all the more fun to collect! Some are natural trailers or climbers, and others grow straight up or even creep, making them an incredibly versatile and stylish houseplant across the board.

This is a highly rare plant that is prized for it's massive, deeply lobed foliage. With it's strong upright growth, this Philo has been known to reach up to 6ft in height. This height can be mitigated with some pruning to the top growth and brighter light to encourage tight leaf growth.

Basic needs: Bright, indirect light; avoid direct sunlight as their leaves can burn from sun exposure. Philodendrons tolerate a range of watering schedules but prefers to be watered when the top 2 inches of soil is dry. They also love humidity, so misting them regularly is great. PRO TIP: as epiphytes, many Philodendrons love to grow vertically -- try giving your Philo a moss pole to mimic its natural habitat of growing against and around trees!
