Monstera, Burle Marx Flame
Scientific Name: Monstera 'Burle Marx's Flame'
Common Name: Burle Marx Flame
Monsteras are a widely loved and wildly popular houseplant around the world for good reason. These beautiful plants are easy to care for and mature plants can have MASSIVE leaves.
A highly rare and unique monstera, this plant get its name from famed designer Roberto Burle Marx and its distinct narrow, ruffled, and deeply serrated leaves that resemble flickering flames.
Basic Care: Bright, indirect light. water when top 2" of soil is dry. Humidity appreciated, but not needed. Monsteras grow very quickly and will send out lots of brown aerial roots (in nature these are used to attach to trees). We highly recommend staking your monstera very early, as they can quickly get out of hand and become difficult to stake if they aren't trained early on.
***Due to the unique nature of plants, the one we carefully choose for you won't look exactly like the photos. but it will be just as beautiful!
