A fan favorite plant for its fenestration, as the plant matures, holes appear in the older leaves, giving it the nickname the "Swiss Cheese" plant. In nature this plant grows up trees under thick canopies, and the holes allow light to hit the lower leaves. This is why a young monstera will not have nearly the same fenestration as an older specimen. Very easy to care for!
