Monstera, borsigiana albo
Scientific Name: Monstera deliciosa var. borsigiana 'Albo-Variegata'
Common Name: Monstera borsigiana albo, Monstera Albo, Variegated Monstera
Monsteras are a widely loved and wildly popular houseplant around the world for good reason. These beautiful plants are easy to care for and mature plants can have MASSIVE leaves.
A highly sought after collector varietal, this beautiful variegated monstera is known for its big glossy leaves with marbled splashes of bright white and deep green. While it is a smaller, faster growing varietal of the Monstera Deliciosa, it has an incredibly slow propagation rate due to it's variegation mutation.
The variegation on this plant can prove to be very unstable, known for reverting back to it's all green leaves. To keep the beautiful splashes of white, make sure to maintain bright, indirect light. You can even prune back the vines to their preferred variegation if they start producing pure white or green leaves.
Basic Care: Bright, indirect light. water when top 2" of soil is dry. Humidity appreciated, but not needed. Leaves do the best when the plant is allowed to climb or trail as it pleases.
