Common Name: Money Tree, Malabar chestnut, Guiana chestnut

The Money Tree is native to Central & South America, where in nature it grows in swamps. As an indoor plant, these are popular to give as gifts, and are believed to bring wealth and good luck to those who receive it. These plants are easy to care for and can be maintained similarly to a bonsai style with careful and consistent pruning. 

Basic Care Notes: Bright indirect light, pot in well-draining soil. Water only when top 2 inches of soil are dry, money trees are susceptible to root rot when overwatered. Humidity is appreciated!
