Scientific Name: Begonia "Cracklin' Rosie" is a hybrid between the two begonias known as Silvermist and Salmon Rubra
Common Name: Cracklin' Rosie

Begonias are beloved houseplants, primarily famous for their incredibly unique foliage variations and variegations, from polka dots to fuzzy (or spiky!) leaves. Begonias tend to be slightly high-maintenance, and are generally considered to be a little more advanced of a houseplant, but don't let that stop you from trying!

The Cracklin' Rosie is a cane-like, angel-wing begonia, aptly named after the Neil Diamond song. It has dark green, ruffled foliage with bright pink spots and burgundy undersides.

Basic Needs: Bright, indirect light. High light maintains this begonia's vibrant coloration, but avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf scorch. Does not like to be soaking wet, but also cannot handle being dry for extended periods of time. We recommend small, but frequent waterings. PRO TIP: to grow a more evenly bushy begonia, rotate your pot every week so a different side is exposed to light-- this will encourage more even growth from all sides!

***Due to the unique nature of plants, the one we carefully choose for you won't look exactly like the photos. but it will be just as beautiful!
