Begonia, Bipinnatifida
Scientific Name: Begonia bipinnatifida
Common Name: Begonia bipinnatifida
Begonias are beloved houseplants, primarily famous for their incredibly unique foliage variations, and variegations, from polka dots to fuzzy (or spiky!) leaves. Begonias tend to be slightly high-maintenance, and are generally considered to be a little more advanced of a houseplant, but don't let that stop you from trying!
The Begonia bipinnatifida has medium to difficult care requirements. They are a unique variety of begonia that look very fern-like, with dark green/bronze-y foliage that will occasionally bloom delicate pink flowers.
Light Needs: Bright, indirect light. Does not like to be soaking wet, but also cannot handle being dry for extended periods of time. We recommend small, but frequent waterings. Needs humidity to truly thrive, so regular misting or sitting on a tray of water with a layer of rocks helps increase humidity in the average home. These are great candidates for terrariums, since they love humidity!
***Due to the unique nature of plants, the one we carefully choose for you won't look exactly like the photos. but it will be just as beautiful!
