The Ruby Red Spikemoss is a beautiful compact houseplant that originated in Brazil. Selaginella come in a multitude of varieties and the Sanguinea is just one of them! Featuring emerald foliage with a stunning burgundy-colored underside, these plants are beautiful, delicate, and easy to care for. For plant parents that tend to "overlove" their houseplants with too much water or attention, Selaginella would instead thank you for your devotion!
Care Notes: Thrives in humidity with moist soil and low to moderate indirect light. These plants never like to fully dry out, so keep their soil moist but not soggy (let the top inch or two dry out before watering again). Pro-tip: keep your selaginella in a saucer of water and refill whenever it's getting low.
