Dracaena, Marginata
Scientific Name: Dracaena marginata
Common Names: Marginata Dracaena, Dragon Tree, Corn Plant
Dracaena houseplants are a great beginner friendly houseplant. They are famous in certain circles for being incredibly low maintenance and tolerant to a variety of living conditions. Dracaena grow from a single stem and as they mature, the stem grows upward and the plant will look more like a tree with a cane-like trunk and a bushy top.
The Marginata Dracaena has fun "fireworks-like" foliage that pops up from a central stem. The leaves are green with dark purple/red accents, and as the Marginata matures it will become a small indoor tree 6-8 feet tall.
Basic Care: Dracaena love bright, indirect light. Pot in well draining soil and let the soil dry out completely in between waterings. These have similar watering needs to Snake Plants and can go up to a month (depending on the environment) between waterings. Do not overwater!
***Due to the unique nature of plants, the one we carefully choose for you won't look exactly like the photos. but it will be just as beautiful!
