Rhubarb Crimson Cherry

Known for being the variety with the reddest stalks, the color will stay much longer than others with abnormal temperature and moisture. The Crimson Cherry is a great all around rhubarb for cooking and eating.

Currently in 3 Gallon pots. Plant in full sun to part shade with well draining soil. Don't harvest stalks until the second year to give it time to establish a root system. After two years, don't harvest more than 30% of the plant at a time. Will grow very large with time.

While the stalks are delicious and nutritious, the leaves are toxic and need to be removed before consumption.
