Sow seeds in sandy soil or a commercial cactus starting mix for best results. Moisten the mixture and allow it to drain. Scatter seeds thinly and press into soil. Seeds require some light to germinate. Reduce watering as seedlings become more established after their first year of growth.
This charming mix will reward the patient grower. Seeds may germinate over a period of months, and blossoms will appear long after the plants are established. Very easy to care for once established.
