Clean Air Machines (Indoor plants)

Let’s talk clean air and the role of indoor foliage plants in the home and office. Yes, plants do remove noxious gases from indoor air and convert it into pure healthy air.

Nearly two decades of NASA testing has proved it. Much like a space shuttle, tightly sealed buildings retain toxic gases, resulting in indoor air pollution or “sick building syndrome”. The consequence being the breathing of air often times contaminated and unhealthy for continuos human consumption. NASA tests have proven that many frequently used indoor plants reduce certain toxic chemicals in the air dramatically by 80% and even 90%. Some of the most effective air cleaners are these common indoor plants: Chinese Evergreen, Golden Pothos, Draceans Marginata, Janet Craig, Peace Lily, Sanseveria, and Chrysanthemum.

All this time you thought they just were pretty in our home or office. Now you have a good reason to keep at least one or two plants in each room for cleaner air.
